At the end of the project he was preparing to leave and my husband had already paid him. I asked why the hurricane “screws” weren’t placed on the trim. He said he left plywood to be placed over it in case of storm. That we didn’t need the screws and they were all bent anyway. I said my understanding is that new ones would be placed and it’s in our contract. His whole demeanor changed and he hurriedly installed 4 screws. He loaded up his ladder and left. I am not a confrontational person. My husband and I will purchase the needed screws and install them ourselves. On our contract we were charged $76 for removal and replacement so I feel I wasn’t asking for anything extra. We di appreciate the extra caulking he said was needed.
